Popped in today and came out with
shoes for all my girls, a Janet Reger nightie for me and an ecopotty!

Could have come home with some Le Creuseut stoneware too - but I was very restrained.

I just got a grobag for a tenner - happy days!

Yurtgirl · 08/08/2009 19:03

I love tkmaxx too - what is an ecopotty? Northern

NorthernLurker · 08/08/2009 19:06

It's made from bamboo and biodegradable resin so that when you're finished with it you can bury it in the garden and grow stuff

The only problem at the moment is that dd3 won't have anything to do with it

TKmaxx rocks - love it

Wilts · 08/08/2009 19:09

Dh and one of my friends love TK Maxx. I hate it, it's like walking into a giant jumble sale in our local one

I just can't be doing with all the rummaging.

Glad you got some bargains

ninah · 08/08/2009 19:12

Tacky Max's rocks yanbu

FlightHattendant · 08/08/2009 19:14

Apart from my wobbly breadbin and buying my own hat, I am generally v excited about TK Maxx.

ninah · 08/08/2009 19:14

buying your own hat? how did you manage that?

hatesponge · 08/08/2009 19:17

Wilts - am with you on that, we have 2 near here, both of which are expensive jumble sales to me!

Am sure there are bargains to be had, I just dont have time to hunt for them

flatcapandpearls · 08/08/2009 19:19

I love TK Maxx. I am going to buy some Le Creuseut stoneware next week.

I have bougt dd some lovely clothes from there as well/

GoldenSnitch · 08/08/2009 19:21

TKMaxx opens in MK in a few weeks. I might go in and have a look before it becomes a rummage sale...

PixiNanny · 08/08/2009 19:22

TKMaxx is amazing, I spend literally hours in that shop

Klaw · 08/08/2009 19:22

YANBU

FlightHattendant · 08/08/2009 19:22

Is the Le Creuset stone stuff any cop? I always wonder. Nigella breadbin wasn't very reduced, but still worth it.

Ninah - I ahd a thread about it a while ago I dropped it there one week then bought it the next, without realising it was the same one...

GoldenSnitch · 08/08/2009 19:27

I got a load of Le Creuset stone stuff for my wedding. It's great.

bluebump · 08/08/2009 19:30

I love TK Maxx but ours is on a retail park that has possibly the busiest car park and takes about half an hour to drive out of so I hardly ever go.

ninah · 08/08/2009 19:30

ah crikey! I missed that one!

Winetimeisfinetime · 08/08/2009 19:41

They now also sell handbags online. From cheap 'n cheerful to designer. And they haven't been kicked around like the ones in the store have.
