Drinking another mammals milk. WTF is all that about?

Why would anyone want to do such a thing?

And past weaning unecessary and slightly disgusting.

I think it should be stopped.

EccentricaGallumbits "the fact is. it is disgusting."

To you, I don't give a damn if there is a bit of pus in my milk, you would be amazed at some of the stuff that has passed these lips. Pus is nothing.

EccentricaGallumbits · 28/07/2009 20:03

don't mind puss. mlk revolts me.

CybilLiberty · 28/07/2009 20:04

Eccenttrica you are living up to your name

"Yuck, chocolate, don't get me started. How can anyone eat the brown beans found on the floor of The Rain Forest. Saying that, I love Mars Bars and Twix's"

EccentricaGallumbits · 28/07/2009 20:04

real life calling. will continue illogicility and hypoctriticalness after.

CybilLiberty · 28/07/2009 20:05

She gone off to milk the herd

Thunderduck · 28/07/2009 20:08

Good point Morloth.

Thunderduck · 28/07/2009 20:09

No it isn't somewhat hypocritical. It's extremely hypocritical.

ThingOne · 28/07/2009 20:12

I can't bear drinking milk or having it on cereal but I love cheese, chocolate and yoghurt. You're not alone, eccentrica.

Anyway there are loads of non-dairy sources of calcium such as tofu, tahini, green leafy vegetables, parsley, watercress, broccoli, swedes, almonds and brazil nuts.

SolidGoldBrass · 28/07/2009 20:13

Why don;t you go into a field, dig a hole, ie in it and die? that;s the only sure way to stop exploiting other living creatures and the Earth our Mother's Gaian resources and nourish them for future generations.

KingRolo · 28/07/2009 20:17

But by digging a hole and lying in it you might disturb some of the seeds that have floated down from the trees and flowers and you'd kill them.

SarfEast · 28/07/2009 20:21

School milk ruined milk for me, as OP said, warm, greasy, can still smell it now

saramoon · 28/07/2009 20:27

Me too! Haven't drunk milk since primary - was forced to drink bottles of vile, warm milk. I remember eating Weetabix dry when i was at school. It is eggs for me too, can't bear them, never eaten them.
But love cheese, yogurt and chocolate

EccentricaGallumbits · 28/07/2009 21:06

don't even mind exploiting other beasts.

just don't like milk.

so there.

TrillianAstra · 28/07/2009 21:10

"just don't like milk."

Well then AIBU to think that eating cabbage is revolting and utterly unnecessary for humans in that case?

sweetkitty · 28/07/2009 21:11

Don't drink milk but love cheese and chocolate

Am squeamish about eggs ever since as a Biology student we cracked open developing chick eggs at various stages of development and watched the tiny chicks hearts stop beating I know most eggs are unfertilised but am always expecting to find a little chick in one, have to crack eggs to make cakes though.

PlumpRumpSoggyBaps · 28/07/2009 21:13

Poor cabbages.

Ruthlessly murdered to sate the appetites of brassica loving humans.

BikeRunSki · 28/07/2009 21:16

I hate milk too. Always have done, always will do. And many, many dairy products too. It is just wrong.

scottishmummy · 28/07/2009 21:16

Thunderduck · 28/07/2009 21:16

milk makes me gag

DidEinsteinsMum · 28/07/2009 21:20

I could be boring and tell you that originally humans weren't designed to drink milk and that is why milk intollerance exists. Humans developed the ability to digest milk and an important source of nutrients in the colder environment of the north where other sources of nutrients were less available. This is why there is a low occurance in milk intollerance in Scandinavian countries and high occurance in china.

But that is just boring so it wont

FAQtothefuture · 28/07/2009 21:25

so why is there little instances of milk interlorance among tribal peoples across the world who milk their goats (and in some areas of the world) their cows and drink the stuff???

EccentricaGallumbits · 28/07/2009 21:38

I've just eaten some cheese and a packet of quavers.

shall i de-register now?

OP posts:
SixtyFootDoll · 28/07/2009 21:41

PEople of Chinesse origin do not possess the enzyme to digest milk, we develop it after weaning.
There is no dairy in chinese diet
