To make roast potatoes , and only roast potatoes for dinner tonight?

well, am I??

been to the beach this afternoon , had a late and large picnic. Have a yearning for roasties.

DD looks as though she is going to fall asleep any minute, and DS is stuffed to the gills and DH is eating at a friends later...

so, am I unreasonable to make lovely, golden, crispy roast potatoes, sprinkled with some rock salt, to eat in front of the computer , for dinner??

This seems no less indulgent that my often occasional evenings of just mashed potato (bought from Tesco) for dinner. With extra butter.

ah, now you see, gravy is for with Yorkshire puddings. roasties have to stay crisp

YANBU - I used to do this, bog bowl with loads of Roast Potatos with Gravy and a tiny bit of Mint Suace..........
