To make roast potatoes , and only roast potatoes for dinner tonight?

well, am I??

been to the beach this afternoon , had a late and large picnic. Have a yearning for roasties.

DD looks as though she is going to fall asleep any minute, and DS is stuffed to the gills and DH is eating at a friends later...

so, am I unreasonable to make lovely, golden, crispy roast potatoes, sprinkled with some rock salt, to eat in front of the computer , for dinner??

With gravy?? YANBU. Can I come to your house for dinner?

famishedass · 27/07/2009 18:07

you'll have to have gravy too, tis the law.

OhBling · 27/07/2009 18:08

This seems no less indulgent that my often occasional evenings of just mashed potato (bought from Tesco) for dinner. With extra butter.

PerArduaAdNauseum · 27/07/2009 18:10

YANBU.

Crisp roasties, gravy sounds perfect to me!

JackBauer · 27/07/2009 18:36

Considering I made tired DD's cottage pie, using leftover meatballs, purely so I could have a bowl of mashed potato, YANBU.

TitsalinaBumsquash · 27/07/2009 18:41
