We took our kids to the Louvre when quite young (5&3) and they really impressed the family behind us by explaining all about the Sphinx to us (head of man/body of lion, comes from Eqypt etc). I must admit i did feel a bit uber-mummyish.

'Til they spoiled it by telling daddy they learnt it from the Wonderpets. (Wonderpets save the camel to be precise). The next day they told us all the Eiffel tower. (Wonderpets save the French poodle). That's Nick Jr though.
