Perhaps it is time for Botox.

I know it is for me.

GiraffesCanRunA10k · 21/07/2009 11:05

Do you knit fot her a lot?

MovingOutOfBlighty · 21/07/2009 11:07

Or smell of lavender and cloves?

bridewolf · 21/07/2009 11:11

no i cant knit, and dont smell of lavender and cloves.

and yes gravity, too much wine, and kids has made me look older.

I dont wear beige, and dye my hair to stop the grey showing. and put on nice make up, wear skirts and high heels on occasion, with of course, my magic slimming knickers.....................and am not using a tenna lady yet.

So, do you fart inadvertantly and blame it on the cat.

Is it that? It must be something.

Doodle2u · 21/07/2009 11:14

It's her way of telling you that you smell of wee and have whiskers.

MovingOutOfBlighty · 21/07/2009 11:15

Good to hear about the Tena Lady. Always want to know about posters urinary control. I am reassured.

Overmydeadbody · 21/07/2009 11:15

i think you're being over-sensitive, it's not offensive really.

I bet her likening you to a helpful grandmother isn't anything to do with your resemblance to an old person.

Are you full of nowledge and wisdom and pass this stuff down to her?

bridewolf · 21/07/2009 11:18

wee and whiskers.............great. just great.

and what about the other comment about my inherited furniture, ( which I love) being similar to her grandmothers which her mother has now got, and is sooooo old fashioned.................and gosh doesnt it look all grown up now!

and before anyone asks, I dont have a cat, or a wheely shopping bag.........

MoonchildNo6 · 21/07/2009 17:21

a whistling hearing aid?

MorrisZapp · 21/07/2009 17:54

You're annoyed because she was meant to say that your grandmother's furniture was modern?

allaboutme · 21/07/2009 17:57

blue rinse?

Confuzzeled · 21/07/2009 18:14

I think if one of my friends called me a granny, I'd be tempted to ask why she thought I was like one?

MovingOutOfBlighty · 21/07/2009 18:16

Is it that you keep offering around slightly soft, furry Werthers Originals from the bottom of your handbag?

babyball · 21/07/2009 22:51

Do you push younger people out of the way aggressively at market stalls, or do you perhaps complain that in your day, you could actually hear a tune and lyrics in popular music?

HerBeatitude · 21/07/2009 22:54

Do you constantly advise her that her child needs a good smack?

VelvetPlum · 21/07/2009 22:56

Lol at you lot!

She sounds a bit of an arse, you're her friend and she should introduce you as such, no explanatory info needed.

WhereYouLeftIt · 21/07/2009 23:04

And you describe her as a friend, why?
