The song in question is the one by Pixie Lott. The one which sounds like it is by a little princess bleating about what her parents would say if they knew her boyfriend was upsetting her. You know the one "What would that daddy say, if he saw me hurt this way. Uh oh uh oh"

I know its so irrational but my god it riles me. Imagine if the roles were reversed and a man was singing "what would my mummy and daddy say if they knew my girlfriend was being horrible to me" It would hardly sell records would it? And why does she want her daddy to know - can't she just dump the loser herself. Arrgghhhh!!!!!

Never heard the song but just her name annoys me. YANBU!

Paloma Faith is so so much better. And FGS - surely Pixie can't be her real name which means she chose it for herself. Why would you do this? Or if she didn't choose it for herself why hasn't she disowned "mama and daddy" for landing her with such a shocking name?

notalone - DH and myself are STILL trying to work out what the 'bluffin with my muffin' bit of the song is all about. My 2yo says 'ENOUGH' when he hears the song, and gets upset about it.
It's just a tacky horrid song. And the girl who sings it doesn't exactly portray herself in a good light either. she was wearing some outfit at one of the festivals this summer!Saw it on BBC3 a few weeks ago.

That kiss with a fist song may be fab ( i dont know) but the title is bollox. It reminds me of a Phil Spector one called 'he hit me but it felt like a kiss'
