that she knew when the Miley Cyrus tickets were going on sale ???

A while ago she said she knew she was touring but didn't know when. I said i'd have a look on the net and if i found anything out i'd let her know, as her dd and mine are huge fans.

I didn't find anything and then before I knew it the tickets had gone on sale and i'd missed them.

I assumed that she had also missed it as she'd not mentioned it, and I hadn't mentioned it as they were now sold out.

Anyhow, saw the mum on Monday and she asked me if I got tickets, and I said no, only for her to say oh we did.

It would have taken her 2 seconds to txt me and tell me that they were going on sale.

Meant to say, that the mum did know I wanted tickets, as I said i'd buy them as my dd's xmas presents.

Presumably she thought that you might purchase "her" tickets and she would have to go without ..???

It's like the woman I know who has access to some sort of priority hotline for Wimbledon tickets. She absolutely refuses to share the number with anyone. And she's a committed Christian who does loads of community work and is always banging on self-righteously about how we should all be sharing and selfless! Makes my blood boil.

If a friend did this to me then yes, I would be upset. However, she's not your friend, she's your dd's friends mother. Clearly the more people who apply for tickets, the less chance she'll have of getting any.

I think you are probably being a bit unreasonable.

FWIW my DD is also a big Miley fan but I refused to buy the tickets as they were £60 each, which for a kids concert is IMO way too much, esp as I'd have had to buy one for me (and I don't particular fancy it).

Well yes she is dd2's friends mum but I see her every week at the girls swimming and we chat for over an hour, plus the girls have been best friends since nursery so yeah i'd say she is a friend.

When we spoke about it, I said i'd let her know if I found out anything and i then wrongly assumed she'd do the same.

If i'd have found out first then I would have made sure I told her.

Perhaps I am just too nice, but I know how much both my dd and hers wanted to go so it not telling them wouldn't have been an potion for me.
