is asking to be thought a loon.

They match the colour of her shoes. Which somehow makes it worse.

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 07/07/2009 15:04

does she have different coloured flowers for different shoes?

TrinityRhino · 07/07/2009 15:04

maybe she just likes the look

DrunkenDaisy · 07/07/2009 15:05

don't be mean. i think she sounds lovely (although not my taste).

Lulumama · 07/07/2009 15:07

think that sounds lovely.

good for her

nothing wrong with being a bit non conformist

TrinityRhino · 07/07/2009 15:08

I'd rather be a penguin than a sheep

crazylizzy · 07/07/2009 15:09

Maybe she's from Hawaii and feels homesick? She sounds fab BTW

madwomanintheattic · 07/07/2009 15:09

ohhhhhhh, i want to be her.

i have some in my top drawer and often think about it. i have long curly dark scruffy hair and i wish i had the confidence to go all hippy and boho, rather than achieve the 'haggard mrs ordinary' that comes naturally...

OrmIrian · 07/07/2009 15:09

Oh she doesn't look like a penguin trinity. She looks more like a shrubbery

i think she sound lovely and interesting i would be very drawn to her

TrinityRhino · 07/07/2009 15:10

and maybe she doesn;t care if you think she is a loon

OrmIrian · 07/07/2009 15:11

She's not boho those, that is the weird thing. She wears tight tight jeans and smart skirts. And v high heels.

OP posts:
OrmIrian · 07/07/2009 15:11

I am quite quite sure she doesn't care.

OP posts:
Swedes · 07/07/2009 15:11

Does she look a bit wide-eyed?

Thunderduck · 07/07/2009 15:15

I'm with Trinity on this one.

OrmIrian · 07/07/2009 15:17

Indeed swedes. How did you guess?

OP posts:
MadameDefarge · 07/07/2009 15:17

Blimey, what happened to the right to self-expression? Is there some dress code you feel we all should adhere to?

OrmIrian · 07/07/2009 15:18

Bugger me no

But I do find flowers in the hair or a grown woman a bit odd. I am clearly alone in this.

OP posts:
TrinityRhino · 07/07/2009 15:18

thats what gets me defarge

it does semm like there a way to dress and everything else is wrong

you would think I was off my fucking rocker rather than just a loon if you saw me

MadameDefarge · 07/07/2009 15:18

It's one of the things that I love about living in Britain, you can wear what you want...so many other countries are really rigid in their conception of the right thing to wear

English Eccentricity. A national trait to be treasured, Trinity.

OrmIrian · 07/07/2009 15:20

How have I gone from thinking silk flowers look odd to be some sort of clothing Nazi?

And I still think it looks odd. So there.

OP posts:
moondog · 07/07/2009 15:20

She sounds great.

It beats the fleece, cropped cargo trousers and crocs combo.

Thunderduck · 07/07/2009 15:21

Odd is good. I like odd.
