Many of you will know I was on earlier and we all got a bit worked up.......but I like to think it was quite fun.

They're not taking it with the same good humour on netmums!!

Why do they say 'iggle' for little over there? How old are they?

QuintessentialShadow · 03/07/2009 19:50

So, tommypickles, you are here to brag that you are trolling on another parenting forum?

Sassybeast · 03/07/2009 19:52

I can still see it but not sure how or why anyone would consider your comments jokey. I'm with the hons on this Are you really too rich to get tax credits?

OmFg · 03/07/2009 19:53

Damn, missed it before it was deleted

Can anyone c+p here?

QuintessentialShadow · 03/07/2009 19:55

So you guys who are so keen on that thread, are you as keen on trolls here?

MangoJuggler · 03/07/2009 19:55

tommypickles · 03/07/2009 20:01

TrillianAstrahasaJOB · 03/07/2009 20:10

Where's the thread on here?

I think if you're in a fluffy happy place it would be a bit surprising to come across a shouty thread, it doesn't mean they are particularly different as people, just that it's a different environment.

So YABabitU.

Confuzzeled · 03/07/2009 20:12

I don't know what a Le Creuset saucepan is but I do have a pissed scottish husband and would like to be a boozy fishwife.

cheesesarnie · 03/07/2009 20:19

Confuzzeled i think you are Confuzzeled.

this is a yawnsome attention seeker and you are talking saucepans-very nice ones -but saucespans

pispirispis · 03/07/2009 20:20

I don't normally post on AIBU but I found your thread on Netmums easily by following the links (netmums coffeehouse - teens and older children - teens, home and family) as it was the first thread.

After reading that and your comments on the other thread about middle class mums and 4x4s, I think you're a terrible snob, and your "wind-up" is not funny at all imo.

Confuzzeled · 03/07/2009 20:22

Cheese, I know I just like MrsBadgers reasons as to why we are here and NM are there.

cheesesarnie · 03/07/2009 20:25

oh panties.sorry-i read things then forget ive read them.but id quite like to be a boozy fishwife too.

tommypickles · 03/07/2009 20:27

No earlier wasn't a wind up, but it ended well and all I got from people here was that they enjoy slagging each other off.

First post on nm wasn't wind up either but once I saw how people jump down your throat I thought I'd take it further.

Why is it when people assume you must be well off they also assume you must be a snob??

So actually there's something wrong with that

MrsBadger · 03/07/2009 20:27

Le Creuset pans are the heavy orange cast-iron ones you got given as wedding presents in the 80s

the quote is from a classic 'things not to do' thread where an inordinate number of MNers admitted to dropping said pans on their feet / dogs / glasses

daftpunk · 03/07/2009 20:32

tommy....depends how well off you are?....extremely rich = not snobby......doing ok thank you, but not rolling in it = possible snob.

tommypickles · 03/07/2009 20:35

how does that work daftpunk.....do explain please

ok...extremely rich people, ( people who were born into it) have breeding and manners, plus they're so rich they really couldn't give a toss....the aspiring rich have hang ups...

Boys2mam · 03/07/2009 20:47

Wasn't this the Sainsbury's + 4x4 + "not that type of people" thread?

QuintessentialShadow · 03/07/2009 20:47

I second what dp is saying.
Extremely rich people are usually very polite, and not snobbish at all. The newly rich, or noveau riche, are the worst.

Confuzzeled · 03/07/2009 20:51

MrsBadger, The wedding present thing struck a bell, so I checked and I have one. It's a casserole dish, never dropped it, but never used it, don't think I'd want to drop it on the cat
