going off all day and in the middle of the night too?

We live in a very rural farming area, ours is one of a small cluster of houses in the same small village. For the last three nights running, a car alarm has gone off in the middle of the night - not sure where it is or how close, but boy does the noise carry at night and it woke DS last night, as well as me.

It's going off now. It happens 4 or 4 times in the day and in the early evening too.

To add insult, the local dogs all start barking when it goes off in the night.

I feel like finding out whose it is and doing something silly. Grr!

Oh I know lobbing a brick wouldn't achieve anything, except make me feel better, but it might give the farking car a reason to scream mightn't it?
