seems to encourage the dullards to keep flogging a dead horse on threads that have passed their sell by date.

[shrug]
I never look at them.

BettyTurnip · 01/07/2009 13:49

Charming. Example?

chevre · 01/07/2009 13:52

the tv thread seemed to go on forever i suspect it was on the front page.

I'm being a bit touchy about being called a dullard because I've just posted this morning on your children as adults thread (anyway, I've probably killed it as usual so it'll be replaced soon).

Am also touchy as I'm too HOT AND STICKY. Yuk.

southeastastra · 01/07/2009 14:00

nah only dullards start threads on AIBU

chevre · 01/07/2009 14:01

no only dullards call people who start threads about dullards are dullards.

bless you betty i am sure you are not a dullard.

OP posts:
chevre · 01/07/2009 14:01

i think i got my dullards in a twist there

Grin
muddleduck · 01/07/2009 14:09

thread is worth it for the word "dullard".

not used enough IMO.

chevre · 01/07/2009 14:10

i know i should introduce it to dd, her fav. insult at the minute is 'stupid head'

OP posts:
mrsruffallo · 01/07/2009 14:11

I started the TV thread and am quite surprised it is still going on
I may well be a dullard though!

chevre · 01/07/2009 14:13

the tv thread was fine but there are only so many times folk with 2 diametrically opposed views had state their case before they become dullards.

OP posts:
LovelyDear · 01/07/2009 14:14

this is on the links, if you click on the 'most active' tab. and the other on is editorial isn't it, so they keep changing anyway.

mrsruffallo · 01/07/2009 14:14

Yes, everyone else on that thread is DULLARD

muddleduck · 01/07/2009 14:15

ds2 (age 2) likes shouting "dim" at people. Well its mainly at me really. Maybe I should suggest "dullard" instead

chevre · 01/07/2009 14:16

the editorial one is the dullard enabler

OP posts:
chevre · 01/07/2009 14:23

the feet one as well. people are taking it so seriously

OP posts:
muddleduck · 01/07/2009 14:28

surely we can do better than "dullard enabler"

dullinator?

BettyTurnip · 01/07/2009 14:30

That sounds like someone who gets rid of dullards, in the style of Teminator.

muddleduck · 01/07/2009 14:32

then that's what we need!

Ask MN to install a dullinator

and perhaps a wingeinator to go with it?

posiedullardparker · 01/07/2009 14:36

I was on that TV thread!

mrsruffallo · 01/07/2009 14:37

That's alright Posie, you were on my side. Us dullards must stick together

BettyTurnip · 01/07/2009 14:38

Trollinator?

Chattox · 01/07/2009 14:43

Lol, would love to see this thread on the discussions of the day links:

'Flogging a dead horse - do our talk links encourage unbearable dullardness?'

muddleduck · 01/07/2009 14:54

No we don't want a trollinator - those threads can be fun! Until they get dull and then the dullinator would get them anyway.
