I was a total twat at the time and had a lot of problems within myself which are now sorted?

Basically in 2005 i was suffering from severe depression which in turn made me be a total twat, but i liked being ME i am fed up with this name and want to be me again lol

Hello Vaunda.

I dn't ever notice who used to be who. I just get niggly feelings that I 'know' someone, then feel all surprised when it appears they were someone else.

be whoever you want to be.

SoupDragon · 29/06/2009 20:40

LOL! I saw a thread only last week and thought "FGS, I wonder if that's that poster, what was she called... Vaunda!" [snort]

It wasn't

I had no idea that's who you were

foxinsocks · 29/06/2009 20:40

I remember you Vaunda! Is it really you? Not sure you told anyone you were suffering with severe depression (not that it matters)?

don't think you need to go back to that old name surely

most won't remember anyway

how is your boy?

TheLadyEvenstar · 29/06/2009 20:55

Fox, yes it is really me. I was diagnosed by 2 different GP's went to a lot of counselling was on AD's, got divorced (which really helped lol) got my life back, met dp, had ds2 and came back on here in 2007 under this name.

TheLadyEvenstar · 29/06/2009 20:56

Soup no this is me, as i say I went through a real crappy time and i couldn't see the wood for trees at the time. I am settled now and things are on the up big time.....divorce was lovely and very helpful in my recovery lolol

I remember you Vaunda. Onwards an upwards if you ask me - why not do the lady vaunda - back to yourself but with a few amendments?

Worriedunfortunately · 29/06/2009 21:07

Chipmonkey - well I am currently suffering very bad 'morning' sickness so yes

I think it was more thoughts of that poor kid with the antiques and the blond hair that did it.

LadyVaunda sounds nice.

TheLadyEvenstar · 29/06/2009 21:09

LOLOL @ Worried, he has no interest in antiques but he has blond hair.

I think its TheLadyVaunda then....

foxinsocks · 29/06/2009 21:14

blardy hell woman

you are living proof there is life after divorce then

well done for sorting yourself out - is no mean feat sorting out severe depression

TheLadyEvenstar · 29/06/2009 21:16

Fox lol turned out he was using me for his passport and once he got it well I was no longer needed. Needless to say I rarely mention to anyone that I was married.

I got into a major scrap with a former name. 17 pages of people piling in on top of me to take another kick.

I name change regularly, but it's funny how some of my names seem to lend me a more mumsnetty persona which is better received than others.

fortyplus · 29/06/2009 23:15

I think TheLadyEvenstar has a certain cachet

Fimbo · 30/06/2009 13:33

VaundaTheLadyEvenstar - don't know if that is too many letters though.

TheLadyEvenstar · 30/06/2009 13:35

lol Fimbo thats more of a mouthfull than my real name lol.

Ok ladies, it is open for debate/suggestions of a totally new name...one that doesn't include either my real name or TLES......

OP posts:
Tinker · 30/06/2009 13:40

Oh, I remember Vaunda . Weren't you here virtually all weekend once? Nothing wrong with that of course

GooseyLoosey · 30/06/2009 13:41

I think I would stick with TLES. It is "recogniseable"

TheLadyEvenstar · 30/06/2009 13:53

Tinker LMAO I am always here, i just pop off and make a coffee once in a while.

Goosey ok thats one idea lol x

TheLadyEvenstar · 30/06/2009 15:59

OP posts:
TrinityRhino · 30/06/2009 16:11

vaunstar is a good name

1dilemma · 01/07/2009 01:08

wow TLE well done you what a lot has happened!!
I remember the name Vaunda but nothing bad!

Qally · 01/07/2009 01:41

I sort of admire name-changing. I am far, far too lazy to be bothered, despite the fact that mine is an abbreviation of my DH's junk email address. How's that for unimaginative?

DS only goes ga ga, ga gi, mama mumumma and da da. He's 8 months - I swear blind he's saying all our names but truthfully he doesn't know his own name yet, never mind ours. I envy your ds' crazy language skills!

And anyone who holds a grudge over a petty online argument for four years has such serious issues, it really isn't your problem.

FAQinglovely · 01/07/2009 01:48

I can't be bothered to search - but I remember your name but not 100% certain of why ..........if I said aliens would I be on the right track???
