Thing is, DD is out for the day, with her friend and family. She won't be in until about 7pm, been gone since last night.

Neighbours have invited us in for an inpromptu BBQ, but all the food will be gone by 7pm!

Do you think she'll mind if she comes home to find no roast dinner, as promised?

Wellll, I did just happen to take up the offer of £10 for a bottle of Pimms this morning, so it would be rude not to share it!

We've got beans and bread and cheese. Beans on toast is always good! She's not a baby, so she won't starve, I'm sure!

Best I go and have a bath and make myself gorgeous then!

YABU. You should wait at home for your offspring, don't go enjoying yourself without her, its just not the done thing.

have fun. I love pimms

I've just text her: 'you know that money I gave you? Get yourself something nice for lunch, me and Daddy are going out for dinner! We'll be nextdoor if you want us!'
