After all it cost a squillion quid and took five years to build.

Bet it gets jammed half way. Good old British craftsmanship for you.

Maybe Cliff could sing while the roof went on

jumpingbeans · 26/06/2009 15:18

They did close it earlier in the week to keep the sun off the toffs

It worked when they unveiled it, and it still needs a break in play of 30+ minutes, 10 to deploy and 20+ to get the enviromental readings settled.

Nancy66 · 26/06/2009 15:20

I didn't know it had already been used.

Must make it damn hot in there though.

YANBU at all.

The did a unveiling on a sunday and televised it, had agassi, graf, henman and do singles and mixed doubles.

It was nice seeing Agassi/Graf playing together.

The enviromental controls will regulate heat / moisture-humidity.
