lockets, my first boy was a little wotsit (but he was excused, car accident during pregnancy can do that to a little chap....altho he is still a grumpy little sod wotsit!!), but DS2...............oh, he was lovely, seriously, could have done 10 of him up until he turned 18mths....

I just run mine to exhaustion, he is unbearable otherwise.

I have always said that the NHS should install piped Gas and Air into every mothers house and shouldn't take it away til the youngest turns 18!!!

Oh, and a victorian style fainting couch in each room

argh. am there with you. DS now 18 1/2 mo, nearly 19mo and is as energetic as a box full of hyperactive fleas. He loves throwing and hitting and kicking, not necessarily anything appropriate. Am worn out!

he is fine now. coming round was bloody awful tho.........thrashing and turning and squirming......he couldn;t be left on the bed, so DH and I had to hold him and just keep swapping him from arms to arms.....was better tho once I told the anaesthatist (he came back as the nurses were worried) about his DX from last week, we them got given a private room and constant nurse.....calmed us down which helped enormously

they now have bowls of 'sgetti'............soft for DS2, fave of DS1, you would think it would bring calm wouldn;t you......

nope, they have now made a game into the 'airplane' feeding I used to do when they were tiny, only I seem to have spitfires and bombers and jets screaching across the table

My DS is 16 months and is wearing me out. I've started to take him to the Botanic gardens every day for for hours just to let him run around and do his own thing. It's the only way I can survive the day.

He is my only LO atm, so I'm lucky I can indulge him (and myself!). Don't know what I'll do if we have another!

Hope the wee guy feels better soon.

Apparently I didn't give birth to a boy, I gave birth to a mountain goat! I thought my lounge was fairly child friendly until Ds ( 13mths ) learnt to climb. And he doesn't seem to have any concept about getting down. I need a fishing net on a stick to catch him.

I mean, how am I supposed to mn get anything done when he decides to climb on everything?! He'll be having his first trip to casualty soon if I don't catch him in time!

I managed to drink from a glass at the pub though last night - maybe a few too many times

Love my boy. He's so bouncy and enthusiastic. Lacks the sly calculating side my daughter has. I love her as well of course but he's always been a more open character, and more openly emotional. Yet to be a teenager though so will soon change.
