Not to want Mrs Badger and her ASBO extended family in my garden?

Have just woken up to see absolute mayhem, soil all over the patio (huge quantities) irises uprooted, huge craters by french windows and 30m away another crater in children's play area.

OMG does that mean they have tunnelled under the patio?

I would be thrilled to have Mrs Badger et al to stay!

No idea what you should do though.

YABU. She's give me some very helpful fashion and shopping advice in the past.

On more than one occasion...

belgo · 25/06/2009 11:22

Why is Mrs Badger getting all the blame? Where was Mr Badger when all this was going on?

claireybee · 25/06/2009 11:24

I thought it was about the MNer too! Where is she these days anyway? Haven't seen her for a while...

stealthsquiggle · 25/06/2009 11:26

Personally I think it was Mrs Badger's night out with the girls and Mr Badger was bored of looking after the DC and decided that letting them loose in your garden would keep them amused...

strawberryplanter · 25/06/2009 11:39

Whoops, lol at a Mner decamping in my garden!

Cannot believe the mess (and I have lots of unruly dc)

Cannot believe they have excavated at the very spot I have a family of bumble bees living in (and have been careful not to disturb owing to their rarity these days)

Shocked to discover a dead bumble bee amongst the carnage! Not only that, but saddened bumblebees have been 'sniffing' at stricken bumblebee's corpse lying on top of the rubble in dc's play area.

Badgers love honey - and will move heaven and earth to find it.

They also love wasps nests - and will destroy anything in their path to get to them.

If it's any consolation, our garden is in a similar state of devastation ...

LilRedWG · 25/06/2009 13:54

LOL - I thought this was about a MNer too.

pickyvic · 25/06/2009 19:49

oh id love mrs badger in my garden. id be hiding out at dusk with DC to catch a glimpse! but my garden is already a state of total devastation without the badgers...
