yes i do namechange to much

yes i am sligtly pished

yes i have had a crap day with my so called "friends"

but whenever i really do need some good adevice or a shoulder to cry on this is my first port of call.

does that make me a sad fucker

Doesn't make you a sad fucker, but bear in mind that folk posting on MN have more time to consider their advice or support, to think it through a little, rather than responding off the cuff, as it were.

You'll also find people on here at the same stage of life as you, while your friends may still be at different stages - if you have a small child, for example, and they are childfree/less, it can be difficult for them to realise how much your priorities have changed.

Sometimes it is easier to speak to anonymous people than RL friends. You are more likely to get the truth on MN.
