to put a lock on DS2's bedroom door?

To keep Ds1 out??

DS1 (2.11) has suddenly discovered he can climb into DS2's (7 mo) cot - the one safe place that we had to put DS2.

I feel awful doing it but it is the only way to keep DS2 safe and so he can have peace and quiet during his naps.

We don't intend to use it during the night - we are just using it when DS2 is napping or at bedtime when DS1 is roaming around.

Am I missing some safety aspect here??

Can you put a stairgate on the door? If he can climb over that I would consider a dog gate (it's like a stair gate but higher IYSWIM).
