the computer mending man downloaded and installed Thunderbird as dh had a problem with Outlook Express. Then Thunderbird wanted the password when dh tried to send an e-mail and dh wouldn't type it in as "X has installed it and put all the passwords in so it shouldn't need it". So for 3 days he has been complaining that he can't send this (apparently very important) e-mail because he doesn't want to type in the password....

Today I lost it a little bit and said "The machine doesn't understand that it ought to know the password already, and I think you're being a bit silly to withhold the password just because it ought to know it. Just put the thing in when it asks for it and send the e-mail" (which he did - while I was out, mind).

My mums hoover plays up from time to time and looses suction. She can remedy it by changing the bag. She was moaning because the bag is only partly full, it was doing it again and she had people coming round. 'Just change it', I urged.

'No', she replied, shoving hoover roughly into the cupboard. 'He has to learn'.

Was that his punishment for it, for not knowing it? with hold data from it for 3 days

Ask your dh was the pooter very upset with him for not telling it the password

Jux · 19/06/2009 13:59

It must be upset with him as it isn't doing what he wants it to again. He is sighing, swearing, tutting and whinging.
