I'm feeling fed up today,my get up and go has gone, my guinea pig has died, I'm tired and generally feel out of sorts etc

I have so much to do, we had a big change around yesterday furniture wise and as you all know, it looks worse before it looks better. I should and could get on with it, but really can't be bothered. It's generally

I get 2 days off a week and seem to spend it doing housework etc. DH is off for the day enjoying himself doing his hobby without a care in the world leaving me at home with dc etc although I did ask him not to go as it's not often we get a full weekend together as a family.

II am doing laundry as the day goes on, one out on the line, one in the washer and one load in tumbler(towels)

YANBU provided you don't do it all the time (this prob takes the piss). Maybe you should swan off next weekend to do something that interests you.

YABU...you should not do nothing...you should eat chocolate that would help.

I'm sure your arse isn't fat

I moved stuff out into another room when we got our new TV two weeks ago & it's still sitting there - I need to move it before DD gets back from university with all her stuff next week & I work full time.

Am I getting on with it?

No I'm sitting on my fat arse mumsnetting...

Thank you ladies, I have done a little bit since my last post, and, I am doing laundry.

Since my last post I went to do some tidying and ended up sitting on the dc bedroom floor reading to dd2.

I know it sounds petty and childish, but, I get 2 days off a week and don't want to spend it doing housework, whereas DH hardly doesn anything on his days off (he gets 6 out of 10 days off) and spends 2 of those tootling off playing golf etc.

I'm going to vac the room soon as dd2 has been pulling the feathers out of her pillow and it looks like there has been a bird massacre

Lovemyshoes I'm doing the same. MY PIL are here and everytime I try and do something they grab my baby (even if she wants to be put down, have a sleep etc) so I can't move. Thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
