to keep ds2 with me this weekend and carry on with my plans as normal?

xp has ds2 every other weekend, he had him last weekend, but because he was with me the 2 weekends before this he wants him this weekend too, i said fine no problem

however, he has not called to make any arragements to pick him up, he usually gets him straight from nursery on a friday, but this week he hasnt made any plans to do that, i have not heard from him all week.

My plans are to go to my parents house in the country for the weekend, i am leaving this afternoon.

So, do i still go and take ds2 with me, or do i sit around all afternoon waiting for xp to call with his plans?

Erm...why don't you call XP and find out what is going on rather than wait for a call?

erm, because his phone is broke so i have to wait for him to contact me

I'd go then. Take DS with you. You can't expect to wait on someone who can't pull their finger out and fix a phone.

I suppose i could ring his mums landline, but i just think why should i? he cant be arsed to make any arrangements why should i chase after him

I would go. If he was serious about prioritising arrangements to see ds, he would have either fixed his phone, or contacted you in plenty of time. Why should you miss out on your weekend in the country?

Go and enjoy yourself with your parents and ds.
