Nope, I'd rather stick hot pins in my eyes than do a lot of things!

But I'm deeply into rock music and have been to see TT - it's a damn good show even if the music sucks big green eggs

YANBU, I said pretty much the same thing when invited to go to a girl's night out and watch Mamma Mia. I said I would rather chew my own arm off.

readyfornumber2and3 · 09/06/2009 19:18

YANBU!!
But then again I have had to spend years finding excuses not to go to westlife concerts with my mum lol I even bribed a friend to go instead 1 year lol

YABU, I'll have your ticket. I don't care if you all think I am a saddo.

Kutner · 09/06/2009 19:33

YANBU

Not even slightly.

Pheebe · 09/06/2009 19:33

Outrageously unreasonable!!!!

TT are the one boy band I can swoon at and not be called a cradle snatcher as they're all about the same age as me

Shirts off lads!!!

[slack jawed, possibly dribbling with lust emoticon]

OrmIrian · 09/06/2009 19:34

Ohhh I am so with you. In fact I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than have a friend think I'd like to go and see Take That!

So there.

Pheebe · 09/06/2009 19:34

Erm sorry, don't know what came over me...DH is away for a few days perhaps that covers it

beanieb · 09/06/2009 19:35

is she paying?

lizziemun · 09/06/2009 19:36

YANBU.

My friends asked me last time they were on tour. And to add insult to injury they ask if i wanted to see the bloody spice girls. so no, like i would rather chew of my own leg.

Goober · 09/06/2009 19:36

YANBU!!

Good for you!

JudyBlume1019 · 09/06/2009 19:37

YANBU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JackBauer · 09/06/2009 19:45

No, she isn;t paying, but she has found tickets for £30 with restricted view. Would have to be bloody restrictive to keep me happy

A friend once asked me to go with her to see a 'contemporary dance' show. It was so awful I had to say something in the interval. But she was a very good friend who said I was an uncultured wotsit who needed my horizons broadening!

TinyPawz · 09/06/2009 22:50

YANBU I think that is the least I would do to avoid them......

Good decision making skills by the way

SlartyBartFast · 09/06/2009 22:51

yanbu at all!!

2shoes · 09/06/2009 22:57

YANBU
I would rather stick my head down the toilet

EyeballshasBackBoobs · 09/06/2009 23:06

I actually did attend Mama Mia with hot pins in my eyes twice. The pins were great, the show was not.
