We could set this as the default Tip of The Day thread, in the event of tips of greater than 24hr shelf-life, and fill it with helpfulness.

But really, it shouldn't be called Tip of the Day. More like Tip that We Might Change Occasionally When We Can Be Bothered.

Perhaps if more people submitted tips they would change them more often.

I don't wish to be rude, or unkind, but making sure you take some drinks with you on a long journey is not exactly a piece of advice that has made me slap my forehead and wail: "why have I never thought of that!"

I get the impression tips may be thin on the ground.

Tip of the indeterminate and ever changing interval wouldn't fit, really.

A few issues with tip editor . I've done a test this morning and it hasn't worked, so just going back to drawing board for a little while.

Definitely meant to change each day, but time of day varies depending on troll quotient how busy we are.
