DH and I went to the pics for the first time since before ds was born, to see Star Trek.
And no IWNBU seing Star Trek it was brilliant (except for Eric Bana, he was shite).

Anyhoo, before the trailers were the all the flipping adverts... 4 of which were for alcohol! Bearing in mind this was a 12A rated film, so mainly family oriented AND it was on over lunchtime, I don't think this was entirely appropriate!

So... AIBU to email to Cineworld to point out their gaffe? Would have spoken to the manager at the time but we needed to get back in a hurry so I could take ds to a birthday party.

I think YANBU to complain to Cineworld, there is also probably someone like advertising standard you can complain to as well.

I thought they were only allowed to put suitable adverts on with under 18 films.

YANBU - i went to see a 12 movie and there was an advert for a very violent computer game rated 18- i complained immediately.
