and feel that I should keep it a secret (have name changed obviously) for fear of being lynched!!

It is a perfectly legal party that has been totally demonised in the media. I was even worried that I may be able to be traced from my ballot paper but I took the risk and voted for them because all the other parties are the bloody same and none of them have the guts to sort this country out. Suppose I'll never get to heaven now .

So, ivhadenuff - should my black British DH go 'home', then? What about my mixed race kids? What about me (Irish parentage)? Should we all sign up for 'generous voluntary repatriation packages'? (to where, exactly? Ireland? Jamaica? Guyana?). Shall my DH close his successful business? FGS, think.

ivhadenuff · 05/06/2009 20:57

@ spokette, yes i believe it happened.and i belive it was terrible, many bnp do not think like all the rest!! open your minds!!

barnsleybelle · 05/06/2009 20:57

daftpunk {grin].. Think you've hit the nail on the head.

ivhadenuff · 05/06/2009 20:59

mrs mattie, we will not be forcing any one to go any where, the policy is strictly voluntary, and is already in existence under the current govt, and has been for decades, the bnp say we will keep it voluntary, but increase funding if necessary.

chegirl · 05/06/2009 21:01

Where will the money come from then?

And the BNP will inforce it. You know thats what they want to do.

What would they do with my kids then? Where would they go?

What about my OH? Like MrsMattie's he is black.

Oh but he did risk his life for this county in Gulf War 1. But I dont suppose that counts as he is a darkie.

barnsleybelle · 05/06/2009 21:01

ivhadenuff... I totally don't agree with you on any level whatsoever but am pleased you have stuck around to answer direct questions.

moffat · 05/06/2009 21:01

why are they increasing funding - is there a lot of demand for it?

spokette · 05/06/2009 21:02

Well I am the daughter of Jamaican immigrants and was born here and I am married to a white man of Irish heritage who was also born here and we have two children who were born here.

We are both taxpayers and homeowners.

So ivhadenuff, to where would we be repatriated?

TheFallenMadonna · 05/06/2009 21:02

Indigenous people. You are not the first BNP activist I have heard referring to this concept. Please explain with reference to the UK.

Peachy · 05/06/2009 21:05

Um

Dh si quite dark from his paternal side but as FIL's aprents abandoned him at 2 we don't know where they come from, Hispanic American is a guess, some poele think DH looks Portugese but we'll never know as it's not recorded anywhere, though there was an American Airbase near where FIL's suspected birth mother lived.

So on the basis of 8assumed* 'foreigner' blood, if the BNP get in PLEASE can we have some of that funding to emigrate? Coz we won'r be wanting to be here.

spokette · 05/06/2009 21:05

ivehadenuff

Would the BNP remove the right for the Gurkas to settle in the UK even though they put their lives at risk for the UK?

LadyGlencoraPalliser · 05/06/2009 21:05

A couple of questions Ivehadenuff
First, if a voluntary repatriation scheme is already available, then exactly what is the BNP going to do apart from put more money into it. How are you going to encourage people to take it up if it is really voluntary.
Second, if you don't agree with the views espoused by many in your party on the Holocaust or on the right of non-whites to join the BNP (they'll be queuing round the block no doubt as soon as they get the green light) do you agree with?
Their views on gay rights
On marital rape
On disability
On single mothers
and if not, don't you think you might possibly be in the wrong party?
Or is it just that this bizarre Britain for the British (whover you mean by that) fetish that does it for you?

Heated · 05/06/2009 21:06

SGB's 18:26 post hit the nail on the head about why people ought to be concerned about the BNP and it might be a mistake to think that others are as politically aware as the rest of MN.

There are voters who believe the BNP have evolved and a lot of what the BNP say resonates with, for example, some of dh's extended family. His extended family are not very educated, mostly self-employed, but socialist at heart but feel disillusioned with NewLabour. Having heard some of extended family's views on immigration - SIL's hb is a self-employed builder who is often undercut by Eastern European firms - it is in traditional Labour heartlands like this where the BNP are gaining ground e.g.

Shirebrook and Pleasley
Sterling Brown (BNP) 1,013
Michelle Mann (Lib Dems) 501
John Robinson (Cons) 618
Marian Stockdale (Lab) 1,598 - ELECTED, held

Kirkby North
Michael Clarke (BNP) 722
Melvin Grant (Lib Dem) 412
Wendy Harvey (Ind) 597
John Knight* (Lab) 842 - ELECTED, held
Dave Spalding (Ind) 174
James Thornton (Cons) 445

Peachy · 05/06/2009 21:08

LdyGlencora I suspect the voluntary repatriation will be further enhanced by a ban on non Bristish popel getting decent job or claiming benefits- amazingly persuasive, extreme poverty

spokette · 05/06/2009 21:09

Peachy

Followed by concentration camps and a Final Solution.

MrsMattie · 05/06/2009 21:09

It's just pathetic. Pathetic! Talk about scaremongering and petty minded, fucked up reactionary bullshit.

Grrrrrrrrr.

'Foreigners' are not the cause of any 'bad' thing in this country. Wake up!

ruddynorah · 05/06/2009 21:10

say hello to your friends ivhadenuff

ivhadenuff · 05/06/2009 21:12

@lady glen, im half Irish half English, most of the Liverpool branch of the bnp are of Irish descent, as are many Liverpudlians, as i stated before, the party does not advocate any kind of forced repatriation, its voluntary. The point you ppl are missing is that now, the party's filled will people from many walks of life, many classes, which enables its to grow, and weed out some of the policies that are still not something i want, but they the only people listening to the million or so who will have voted for the bnp in the Euro elections this week. that's why were growing. i love people, of all colours, i love lots of other cultures,I just disagree with the thousands of illegal immigrants, and the horrific political greed of the three main parties show, and the reverse racism towards the white, i hate that when i fill in a form of census, theres boxes for every one else but ENGLISH. things like that upset ppl.look at the expenses scandal. so you know when ppl like us are joining the bnp then you something truly substantial is happening in British politics.

clemette · 05/06/2009 21:13

I know that link is terrifying but I have to laugh at them being pleased the BNP were at the top of the list. The list is alphabetical.
Twats.

dollius · 05/06/2009 21:13

Please tell us, ivehadenuff, who are the indigenous Brits??

Do you really not understand that our nation is made up of immigrants over many centuries?

MrsMattie · 05/06/2009 21:13

The BNP put disgusting anti-Polish propaganda through my letterbox last year. It wasn't subtle. It was pure, evil xenophobia.

I'd like to know why they - you - think inciting hatred against my nextdoor neighbours is going to 'make our nation great'????

spokette · 05/06/2009 21:13

"hate that when i fill in a form of census, theres boxes for every one else but ENGLISH."

So you would repatriate Scottish, Welsh and Irish, including yoursefl?

NooNoo5 · 05/06/2009 21:14

Annie anonymous - are you actully interested in the arguments posted - some have been very insightful/thought provoking, or are you just out to inflame/wind people up. If so i don't think you got what you intended. Nobody cares what YOU did that's you're right to vote BNP but to understand the implcation of voting BNP take note from some of the bloggers PLEASE.

TheFallenMadonna · 05/06/2009 21:14

I've found the definition of indigenous people, or ppl perhaps?, used by the BNP btw.

"We use the term indigenous to describe the people whose ancestors were the earliest settlers here after the last great Ice Age and which have been complemented by the historic migrations from mainland Europe.

The migrations of the Celts, Anglo-Saxons, Danes, Norse and closely related kindred peoples have been, over the past few thousands years, instrumental in defining the character of our family of nations."

So not really indigenous at all really.
But definitely white.

ivhadenuff · 05/06/2009 21:15
