if you forgot to send a postal vote you can hand it in to the polling station.

I met our liberal chap at the polling place. He looked a bit red. Either he was in the sun for too long or is a raging alcoholic, who cares, I shook his hand and wished him best of British

Does anyone else get that excited feeling about doing their bit? I'm sure people thought I was completely mad, I kept smiling at everyone.

Also tempted to write something nasty about the bnp inside the booth but was too scared.

Didn't vote, really cynical about everything to do with politics, whichever party is in they spout off about how long it will take to repair the damage the last lot caused, they're all corrupt and we're all being taken for a ride

Jan, the BBC site has a live map, most results aren't out yet afaik - ours aren't anyway!
