A sad fact of life...

I do think that the people who stand by and let people get away with it are as bad as the perpetrators...

AIBU to expect widespread condemnation of it?

Make that passive agressive Rindercella

Roneef how do you think I deal with it? If someone is threatening towards my beloved kids they get dealt with accordingly.

It depends on the circumstances but they never get away with it.

I am sorry your mum ignored it. That probably explains quite a lot. Maybe you are transfering your feelings of hostility and abandonment onto a psuedo mother figure thus your rantings and odd behaviour on MUMSnet? Just a thought.

Tortington · 29/05/2009 00:04

i've reported your posts rindercella. whether you have a point or not - i don't know - but you can't use language like that against someone. either argue it properly or don't post.

wolfnipplechips · 29/05/2009 00:06

Well then Roneef i am going to go to bed hoping that you have maybe been so horribly rude because of communication problems. That is called the benefit of the doubt, look it up.

Rindercella · 29/05/2009 00:07

You're right Custardo. My apologies. I have been wound up by this person and I should know better than to sink to that level.

tubeofcanesten · 29/05/2009 00:08

Primary and secondary socialisation look these up OP

Or never get out of bed in the first place.

Rindercella · 29/05/2009 15:53

I just want to apologise for being rude last night. Obviously it was way past my bedtime when I started being rude. Quite unlike me really, even to posters who have irritated me.

isenhart7 · 29/05/2009 15:54

Because, I suppose, some of us are just better in bed.

beanieb · 29/05/2009 15:56

just answering the first post.

I work with someone who calls the thai canteen staff 'the ting tongs'

I have said to her 'omg, you shouldn't call them that' but she still does. I don't say anything now and I suppose that could be me standing by and letting it happen.

isenhart7 · 29/05/2009 16:02

She's faced the worst skin disease you could imagine
And many times her eyes fought back the tears
And when her child's skin was about to flake off
Each time her loving arms
Boiled up some curry leaves
And from a clean bucket they did heave
The cure for eczema as final rinse-see how it cleaves

Let her cure, for she's a mommy
Let her brag o'er her success
Let the praise fall down upon her
For her love;y daughter's skin is no longer a mess

And if by chance I should meet her
Let me take her through that garden of mine
But if allowed just one smuggery
I would pick, grind, and put up my own thyme

Be careful how you prepare your curry if you attempt this
For Le Creuset's the best cookery that you know
And when you carry that cooled mixture into the bath you won't believe your woe
With how f'ing heavy that pot is
Why it could break someone's toes
And the only thing for it
Is a clean bucket, don't you know

Let her cure, for she's a mommy
Let her brag o'er her success
Let the praise fall down upon her
For her lovely daughter's skin is no longer a mess

Lizzylou · 29/05/2009 16:05

kel4mum, just read my last post to you, hope you didn't take it as literally "fark off", was only joking but due to late hour and Sauv Blanc missed off the and

Longtalljosie · 29/05/2009 16:16

A thread about a thread masquerading as a thread not about a thread. Staggeringly bad form...

Can someone tell me the tunes please? I would appreciate the poems so much more if I could see them as songs.
