Please help - I need a washer dryer and having trawled through the product archives can't come to a conclusion.

So - no space for two separates. I have a 17mo dd and another baby due in September.

I NEED a dryers capability with the prospect of tonnes of baby washing on top of all our normal washing.

Does anyone have one that they would recommend?

Please?

Sorry no, slightly worried about drying my due babies nappies in October as my first dc was born in May so didn't have to worry. Will watch your thread though and decide if I should get the same!

I bought this Hotpoint one a few months ago.

My old one broke after nearly ten years so it was quite a bif thing to get a new one!

I'm very pleased with it. It's very quiet compared to the old one, takes much more washing per load and spins fast so drying time is shorter.

Mine is silver but it comes in white and grey, I think, if that makes a difference!

Once I had chosen the model I wanted I did lots of searching on the net and found an internet company that delivered 2 days later for quite a bit cheaper than other suppliers (something like Appliance Direct).

We always had zanussi washer/driers and were really pleased with them BUT our last one only lasted 4 years. Not great, compared to our first which lasted nearly 16.

Came just as we were at our most broke, too, so I rushed out and bought second hand ones to replace them from a little repair shop down the road.

Am now the proud owner of a Bosch washer (which I love) and a cheapy drier (which we were given for free, but paid the guy £30 for because he did us such a favour bringing it).

If anyone on here gets which, it might be worth checking. I also heard that they have which at the local libraries? Or was that an urban myth??

Whatever you do don;t buy Hotpoint. If it goes wrong their customer service is utter shit, I will never buy hotpoint again

We have a zanussi condenser dryer. Was a baby pressie from a lovely friend who saw our obvious need. Does the job although only had it for a year and a half so not sure how long it will last.

Have just looked around the kitchen and realise that all my white goods are now Hotpoint .

The fridge and dishwasher are both 10 years old and I've only had to call out someone once to fix the fridge-freezer. Not bad after all that time.

As I said before, the washer dryer was Indesit and I have only just replaced it.

Indesit are also in same group as Hotpoint if you feel the need to avoid them
