to ask the estate agent to pull their finger out and organise a third viewing on our house?

we've moved overseas so cant do the viewings ourselves so we're reliant on them doing it. A woman has been twice to view the house and they emailed me on thurs to say she wanted to have one more look at it before she made a decision but that they hadnt got round to organising the viewing yet!

Why are they not making this a priority viewing - she's obviously very interested and since they work on commision then surely they want a sale as much as we do?

What should i email them today? should i be a little bit arsey or go down the nicey nicey route?

Be arsey!

We pussy foot around estate agents too much.

They should be pulling out the stops to get a sale on your place, especially in the current climate. Make a nuisance of yourself.

Email the MD: "I understand that a woman who has viewed my property twice would like a third viewing but that your staff have been unable to arrange this for her. I want this matter made an absolute priority and I would also like a full explanation of why it has taken several days in order for this task to be undertaken."

Be arsey.
We have just 'sacked' our EA as they were incompetent.
Many of them don't know how to sell any more as it has been so long since they had to make any effort.
Unfortunately, nicey nicey doesn't work.

went down the sarcastic/arsey route - she's now emailed me back with the worst grammer saying they offered the woman times this week but she can only make it on saturday! well why didnt they offer her last saturday!!! we now unwantedly own 2 houses and am quite desperate to sell the old one! its on for a bargain too and we've had quite a few viewings - just annoyed its not selling and that i'm blaming them for not pushing it through!
good idea lalalonglegs about emailing the MD - you'd think they would want a sale to keep their jobs!
