Or is it just me?

Took DDs (age 7 &10)for a day out with my Mum. I spent all day queuing - in traffic to get in, to get a coffee, to get a burger, to go to the toilet, to do the kids crafts....just awful. There were not enough staff anywhere, seems as if they had massively underestimated the number of people. Plus virtually all the exhibits (with the exception of the toys and the tents outside) were so inaccessible to children.

The fly-pasts were down to one plane, Red Arrows blink and you missed them .

Anyone else there and had a fab day?

Go to Bletchley Park on a regular day - it is fab. It does not need dressing up with face painting.

sceince t - I am a bit put off. Most of the exhibits about the code-breaking did not seem to have simplified elements to help the kids. Most of it went completely over their heads, despite my best efforts to explain. Is there usually a kids tour/work sheet -type activity?
