To think DH could have shown more interest in DS?

DS is 4 and has been learning how to ride his bike. He hasn't been able to grasp the balance thing but today, whilst we were in the garden he suddenly got it and was off like shit off a stick down the road.

I shouted at DH to get his camera and he wouldn't tear himself away from his deck chair. I think he should show more interest in his son, he thinks riding a bike isn't a big deal. AIBU?

I was over the moon when my DS learned to finally ride a bike so I can understand where you are coming from but my DH would be much like yours (and my kids have come to notice that over the years).

Did you manage to get some photos of him?
