His response to I have no salt as he wants to make salt dough.

Apparently sugar dough is the same thing and now he has stormed off to his room saying "I never get to do anything I want."

He is 8.

Isn't "sugar dough" biscuits??

Umlellala · 21/05/2009 16:22

Was just about to go awwww, then saw he is 8 . It's logical I guess (dd 3 mixes up salt and sugar... don't let her near your tea)

Why don't you explain to him why you need salt in salt dough? (ie preservative)

I thik they are learning about salt dough in school and I think it is just using his charm to get me to give him something else. I don't think he has thought about them being biscuits.

He has finished his huff now and is in the garden playing with his Duplo tardis.
