4-5 wks ago Sister bought 2 tickets for Lily Allen concert in November, said one for her, one for me - as a b'day present - my b'day is in Dec. I thought oh how great

Out today, chatting away & I said "When is that concert again?" and she said "Well, I've sold your ticket to Maria, I didn't think you were all that keen on going"

I was really keen to go, ffs and really upset and made her see it she went on about seeing if there were anymore tickets available but I said no don't worry

So, AIBU to be annoyed with her?

YANBU, I would be bloody fuming. I hope she either gets you another ticket or an extremely nice replacement birthday present.

Maria's her friend yep. She didn't sell them at Profit. I said to her at the time I'd give her the money for them, she said no don't be silly it can be your b'day present.

I'm a single mum and don't get out much and really was looking forward to this she knows I'm upset at it but she won't do anything more..

If she thought you weren't keen on going, she should have checked with you.

I hope the fact she has SOLD them to friend means she'll spend this amount on your pressie.

Yes she apologised and was obviously really embarassed about it, but if I didn't mention this today I'd have still have been expecting to go in November.. when the fuck was she gonna tell me ffs?!
