Went to my mums yesterday to take her out and do a bit of shopping, we had a nice day.

As I was leaving mums to head home I got outside the front door and heard...

Fucking C*, Shut up you little fucker, Fucking Wanker, and along comes this young couple with 3 kids the smallest one being the one shouting fucking so and so and the mother shouting the shut up...then the bloke joins in with wait till we get home you little fuck!!!!!! This little chap was about 3 shaved hair, stud earing and dirty football shirt, you can only wonder what he will be like at 13 or 23.

They went off up the road shouting and swearing at each other....

As I keep saying just because people can have children does not mean they should, the circle of vileness will go on and on.

its clear where he learnt the words from

i know some lads with earing shaved hair and football shirt and they are polite adorable boys i dont like earings in boys but still these boys are wonderful

its the language used to and fro he has clearly learnt this from them and thats awful

sorry to hijack but Kimi how is your friends little girl chloe?

Hope all is going well, but i cannot find the thread in threads im on.

mumoverseas · 19/05/2009 10:16

very sad, lets hope the poor little lad doesn't grow up like his parents.

poopscoop, that thread about Chloe is on chat, just bumped it so its at the top. No news yet I'm afraid though, hope she is ok. Can't link as too stupid and typing one handed whilst b/f baby

gingernutlover · 19/05/2009 10:37

how very sad about the awful language

but I dont think you can judge children by what their parents choose to dress them in/pierce them with

hopefully he will grow up to realise that this is not a nice way to behave.

My parents act in ways that I dont agree with - it doesnt mean that i grew up doing exactly as they did. In fact now I am an adult myself I pride myself on never doing certain things

My brother had his ears pierced at 4 because he wanted to be like our dad, he wore football shirts which were most often dirty because he is a child and yes shock horror they do occasionally get dirty when climbing trees, eating, running around or generally having fun.

I don't like children with their ears pierced but not my choice what other people do and it hardly makes someone a bad parent because of that!

So in that respect YABU!

With regards to the bit that should actually concern you, the language he and his family were using then no YANBU to be upset and concerned by it.

Actually what exactly are you being reasonable or unreasonable about? I don't think you said.

poopscoop · 19/05/2009 11:46

thanks mummyoverseas, It must have dropped off my threads im on - probably only saving a couple of days or something. Will take a look.

I don't think it is unreasonable to think it sad that a child of 3 walks along the road shouting fucking cunt fucking wanker.

My youngest wares footy shirts and is often grubby but I would not let him have a bloody great chunk of glass stuck in his ear.

The thing I found sad was the fucking this that and the other and the mother responding to him with the same language, and then the father too, boy has no chance.
