To go on strike

To make my children appreciate me a bit more!

No more cooking, no more washing clothes, no more tidying up toys (well maybe into a bin bag)...

Except that somehow I just know they'd sit on the sofa eating cereal and dry bread naked watching tv all day long

Depends on how old they are really, but probably not BU at all.

How quickly our DC's turn feral thoughy without us picking up, cleaning up etc

Can just imagine my DD reverting to being naked and eating cereal and dry bread and going google eyed in front of the TV.

Actually that sounds a lot like Sunday mornings in our house when DP is in charge and I am having a lie in

I went away for two days last year and my two sons AND THEIR DAD all went feral! Wearing the same pants for two days and eating nothing but toast and bananas!

They don't care.

Have re-read my post - for clarity it would only be DD who would be naked - DP is far too prudish shy for that

Maybe we should nominate Thursday of half trerm week - Strike Day and see whose DC's go wildest the quickest

Should we have a little wager?

Dilemma, we have those magic, self-replenishing cupboards in our house!
