I'm pissed off, went to a cafe for lunch, two women just before me, order drinks, then more of their friends (10 more) turn up and they order for them one drink at a time so it took 20 minutes.

I'm on a health binge at the moment so no chocolate/ice cream etc. Darn!

They didn't even appologise or acknowledge me. Why are older ladies so rude to younger ones? They were all 60 something. I'd never do something like this, it's so rude.

I hate this. I also hate it if I'm at the bar in a pub and the person if front of me orders a dozen drinks, after all if there had been a dozen people hanging about with this person I would have stood at a different area of the bar. Not alot you can do but I agree very irritating and rude if the friends only arrived after she was in the queue.

FluffyBunnyGoneBad · 13/05/2009 15:02

Do you ever feel as if older ladies (60+) look down their noses at you?

I'd have taken them out one by one with my tray, and then stepped over there bruised bodies as I ordered my Latte.

This sort of thing pisses me off so much.

So YANBU.

FluffyBunnyGoneBad · 13/05/2009 19:33

Would you like to come for a coffee with me next time LastOrders?

oh god I have a real bee in my bonnet about this generation of women.

I'm heavily pregnant and was recently queing for a toilet behind a gaggle of these women, who regarded me by looking down their noses and not bothering to offer that I might like to go first (there was only one loo and I'm clearly very pregnant!)

Then I was in a cafe of a department store and all my shopping fell out of the bags and four of them just watched me struggling to pick it all up.

That generation of women are rude and unhelpful. We have much better manners.

Bonneville · 13/05/2009 20:25

OMG and have you seen them forming a barrier with their trolleys around the reductons in the supermarket?

FluffyBunnyGoneBad · 13/05/2009 21:13

I thought it was just me!

I hate goin on the bus, it's always covered with used OAP bus tickets littering the floor. They tut at you when you are at the supermarket as if you should allow them to go before you. Soo much attitude!

They so need to get over themselves!
