Hi I have a nearly 6 month old DS and 4 older kids. The older ones all had CP and when they were infectious I kept them in unless I had to go out and then I was careful to keep them away from people. However, the last two days i have seen kids in Tesco shopping and in Boots with full CP (ie not scabbed up). I would much rather DS was at least 1 when he gets it, also worry about the newborns and elderly getting it. AIBU to think people should keep their infectious kids at home?

Nappy home delivery shopping is great! You get the odd email with free delivery if you spend over £50 normally but not always. I always google free grocery delivery codes for whichever shop I am using (only asda or tesco here) takes a bit of trawling but saves a lot of hassle in the end!

In the end delivery actually costs less than a taxi sometimes so worth it for us as none of us drive and my mum can't take me.

Anyway back to OP.

The point is though you don't know the circumstance's so don't judge!!!

As I have said my DS breaks out in spots, looks like he has been burnt because of severe atopic eczema and sometimes has weeping sores on his face. I have been asked a few times is it the pox? What happened to him?

I was also told one time that I should'nt have him out in that state because it's disgusting. Yes being told that me taking my 18M son out for some fresh air was disgusting, that is'nt nice and all because the ignorant shit did'nt take the time to ask if he had pox or just keep her bloody nose out!

Thankfully it has cleared up now and only breaks out occasionally so I tend to be allowed to take my son out now because he looks 'normal' again...
