She's not even eight yet.
She's in Yr 3.
The project is about climate zones (yawn).

well...ok ds might be a bit young....maybe he could cut paper into pieces and you could make a cover with a collage picture of a tree, or something...

emkana · 09/05/2009 21:16

the point is though that I just don't want to... we all wanted to have a happy time in the garden together, the sun was out...

our time is not our own Mon to Fri, why does it have to be dictated to at the weekend as well?

Why did it have to be today you did it though, if you wanted to be in the garden?

6 pages over a month sounds perfectly reasonable to me. & a good topic, too.

FairLadyRantALot · 09/05/2009 21:27

indeed, it didn't have to be today....also...if you are so negative about this, she will pick up on that, and well, surely that isn't a good thing...

emkana · 09/05/2009 21:30

It can't be done after school because the afternoons are filled with dancing/brownies/playdates or with me having meetings/appointments

So has to be the weekends

We started last weekend, she did research/notes on first two chapters

next weekends is mhy birthday on Saturday and dd's dance exam on Sunday, so nothing will get done then

So only time to finish research, write out in rough, find pictures, write up in neat and compile is this weekend and weekend of the 23th/24th
