And lying on a long cushion, talking to the audience,

with your feet pointing towards the audience, whilst you're propped up on your elbow,

Wouldn't you bear some consideration for the fact that your nads are hanging out the sides of your pants and the whole audience can see?

I cannot begin to tell you how gross it was.

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 04/05/2009 17:21

Maybe he was a Scotsman and thought it was the same as wearing a kilt!

SauerKraut · 04/05/2009 17:25

At least he wasn't handing out Roman nuts

violethill · 04/05/2009 17:44

He probably knows it's a crap re-enactment and did it to add a bit of excitement for the ladies!

mrsmaidamess · 04/05/2009 17:46

He was just being authentic by the sounds of it. I'm sure Julius Caesar didn't wear boxer shorts.

violethill · 04/05/2009 17:48

Not bright green ones anyway. Maybe something dyed with woad? You should have asked a question OP. About Roman undergarments.
