I work in sexual health. The song is pretty grim about sex and drug taking but there is one line "when it comes to condoms, put two on" (!?). Trouble is this guy is very popular with young people and I'm worried a very wrong message is getting out to young people. (FYI Two condoms increases likelihood of them both splitting- although at least there is a vague message about actually wearing a condom!).

Anyhow erm I erm got very irate about this yesterday and erm sent some emails about it and erm as a result the BBC are coming round to interview me. Feck! I thought I was a liberal but it seems I am an old prude and DH has renamed me Mavis Whitehouse. So am I being unreasonable to start waging a war against this song?

Well it was more utilising contacts I already had- they had filmed me teaching sex ed before so they know I love a good rant!

Am slightly embarrased this morning though and wondering if I overreacted but then again the song really could cause some daft kids to try it with bad consequences.

I think it's meant to be a post-Obama message to the young dudes about going to College. They have to sell it by promising they will have great nights getting 'wasted' and getting laid.
