Mumsnet Worthy. To discuss green issues, the forthcoming election, books not on the Richard & Judy good-read list, slings, the horrors of formula-feeding or mixed feeding, co-sleeping, the best way to cook homegrown aubergines and how to respond when your baby splats the aubergines against the wall instead of eating them even though they are a bit on the lumpy side.

and

Mumsnet Lite. To discuss anything else with a little light judging.

yes

Hassled · 25/04/2009 20:22

Can I just clarify the rules?

You seem to imply that were I to have a question about cooking homegrown courgettes that would be Mumsnet Lite. Is that correct? What happens if the baby eats the aubergine but lobs the artichoke?

There's nothing worse than woolly rules, IMO .

Is it not possible to lightly judge aubergines?

Oh no..hang on, that would be 'lightly grill'.

Gentle · 25/04/2009 20:26

(judges self mercilessly)

Northernlurker · 25/04/2009 20:28

Where will the bumsex fit in?

Swedes · 25/04/2009 20:28

Hassled - Oh there won't be any rules. Let alone woolly ones. There will just be more insults like

"Oh piss off to Mumsnet Worthy and take your rocket and nasturtium salad with you."

OP posts:
MrsMattie · 25/04/2009 20:28

But where would the judgy co-sleepers go?

Swedes · 25/04/2009 20:31

It will just be another means of insulting each other without being so terribly insulting so as to say "Get thee to Netmums".

AnnieLobeseder · 25/04/2009 20:31

But what if, as a lentil-weaving, cloth nappy-using, sling-using, recycling, compositing, bf-ing image of perfection, I felt compelled to completely judge everyone else who didn't live up to my earth-goddess standards?

OrmIrian · 25/04/2009 20:31

I'm not sure that 'worthy' and 'judgy' are the two poles actually Presumably those who judge consider themselves worthy?

There would also need to be an online equivalent of the public bar where the common MNers would gather to discuss bum sex and drinking.

Hassled · 25/04/2009 20:32

Annie makes a good point. We can be both worthy and judgemental. At least, I can.

Swedes · 25/04/2009 20:33

MrsMattie - The judgy co-sleepers should duplicate their posts on Worthy and Lite. We'll probably ask for a special thread on both: Fucked-up Fuckers, or something of that ilk.

Swedes · 25/04/2009 20:37

OrmIrian makes a good point. We might need to have the Mumsnet Fence. Where a few drinkies can be taken before making a commitment.

OP posts:
AnnieLobeseder · 25/04/2009 21:01

Quite - I mean, why else would we judge unless we considered ourselves to be ever so worthy?

AnarchyAunt · 25/04/2009 21:04

Mumsnet Filth?

Mumsnet Blue?

BitOfFun · 25/04/2009 21:06

Dear me, I'm afraid there would be no doubt which side I'd be on

Swedes · 25/04/2009 21:09

Anarchy Aunt Mumsnet Filth is utterly fantastic. I'm desperate to post on Mumsnet Filth.
