to have a giggle at learner drivers?

I'll start off by saying that I know we all have to learn. I have no problem with learner drivers and am very considerate to them when I'm driving. This one has had me in stitches though!

I live opposite a junction that is very popular with lots of local driving schools to practice reversing around the corner.

I think we've got quite a new learner outside atm!!

First they flew past the corner, braked very hard and stalled about 20 metres beyond the junction.

Then the reversing started - kangaroos first (never seen that in reverse before!) then whizzed around the corner pretty quickly and ended up in the middle of the road. The instructor must have pointed out that they weren't near the curb as the car then lurched backwards some more and ended up on the pavement!!!

I'm having a good old giggle from the comfort of my sofa but DH says I'm mean to laugh! I say as the learner doesn't know that I'm laughing then there's no problem! AIBU?

I'm a learner myself (although my test is due anytime yippee) & I giggle at other learners too - often giggle at myself too when I realise the reason I can't get my bite point is because I'm still in neutral

Meanie. I am learning (again) after I lost my nerve when younger. Will be taking lessons on my 30th birthday and will, no doubt, be shocking.
Still, as long as you don't hang out of the window pointing and laughing I guess it's OK.

Im a learner and I laugh at myself - other wise I would get all flustered! I stalled twice on a very easy turn yesterday...but had managed round abouts fine! Poor car behind me

Hmm will try not to think of all the people laughing at me when i'm on my lesson later.

The people who stop to watch you doing a turn in the road or parallell parking and then give you a thumbs up or a round of applause when you manage it are worse. I know they mean to be encouraging, but I'd really prefer it if they didn't blatantly watch me!

YANBU so long as you are covert about it.
