But if the pallid flesh doesn't get on show until July it will remain pallid won't it?

I can cope with pallid - it's pallid and hairy (on females) that I find troublesome to my eyes. And no - it's not THAT warm so the goosbumps do nothing to soften the effect.

I'm freaked out by the acres of fit and toned flesh that's suddenly on display - damn you mothers who clearly spend the winter in the gym. Spare a thought for the wobbly middle-aged amongst us - you gym-goers are raising the bar too high.

'acres of fit and toned flesh' - surely that's an oxymoron?

I know it's not me you're talking about, hassled; am keeping my wobbly bits well-wrapped.
