Oh yes. The truck racing!

Dh went to a race trakc near us yesterday with his best mate who was staying and was raving about it and how the girls would love it, so we packed a picnic and went.
It was fab there was a big bit of sand at the edge of the spectators bit left over from when tehy built new spectator banks, we had the car behind us and a picnic rug set out wiht a great view of some, quite frankly, completely insane drivers launching the 11 litre 1000bhp trucks around very tight corners and crashing
Girls loved it, had great fun playing in sand, watched dvd in car when they needed time out, lots of fresh air, lots of time for them playing frisbee with DH and BM between races.
Dirt cheap to get in, clean loos, everyone was really friendly.

I might need to go back for the bike races.
Or is that just really sad?!

We planned to go to some last year but never made it - I'm now going to check to see if there's any on near us soon, its sounds perfect for my DSs

YANBU!

Our lot loved Superbikes last year, and I've always enjoyed motorsports of all kinds!

I want to take them to Speedway and Stock Cars but it's a bit late and dirty for small children.

We used to go to the drag races and camp onsite for the weekend, but that was pre DC's so we weren't sure how it would work with them distracting and teh noise. Luckily it wasn't tool bad, but we were sitting near the hairpin, so got loads of slidey action!

Bikes are on next weekend and in May so we are definaely going again!
(This is Pembrey racetrack BTW, we went to Shakespeare county raceway for teh drags)
