To do diddly squat today?

I had a busy day yesterday and today dh is at work so I basically feel like doing bugger all except the laundry and getting uniforms ready for next week.

DH finds it very very easy to do bugger all on his days off, but I always feel guilty.

I've recently had my hours at work changed and only get the weekends off now and don't want to spend all weekend tidying and doing housework.

sounds fien to me although the dcs would drive me mad if I kept them in all day

The dc's will be in and out as usual, but they are usually out playing kerby (sp?) or out on their bikes.

Not at all unreasonable.

What nice things are you going ot do instead?

compo · 19/04/2009 09:54

Hmmmmm, trillian

I did the garden yesterday and it looks bloody fabulous, so, I'm hoping the sun is going to be out so I can lie on the patio and read.

I'm going to have a really long soak and do my nails, deep condition my hair and might watch a film later this afternoon

i also feel guilty if i do nothing! how ridiculous is that.

think i might pop off and go and buy me a nice bottle of wine.

gillybeanie · 19/04/2009 15:50

oh i am having one of those days as well
great isn"t it

womblingfree · 19/04/2009 16:51

I'm still in my PJ's! Although I do have the excuse that DD and I were up most of last night as she was sick, so we are having a very lazy day today!

Lovemyshoes · 19/04/2009 17:23

Oooooh Numberfour wine sounds good, but, I'm working in the morning so I won't have a drink tonight. Depending on how my day is tomorrow I might go out for a couple of hours tomorrow night.

gillybeanie, yes it is great, I have done the washing and hung it out etc but not done as much as I usually do.

Womblingfree, poor dd, is she ok now? I often have days where I don't get changed out of my pj's but I still do all the housework, today I've got dressed and done nothing which is a BIG change.
