.............cos they are aiming that way

they want their bedroom decorated.

I understand that (tis done up in purple and pink with fairies..)very pretty, but was done 4yrs ago when they were lots more into pink and pretty.

anyhoooooooooo

DD2 seems to be a budding interior designer and wants a very loud wallpaper on one wall, built in wardrobes along another wall, two walls bright white, and wooden flooring.

DD3 is not so keen.....she is ten tho and into high school musical.

I have said a flat no to the HSM theme given that she is a) sharing with her older sister, and b) not going to be into it next year possibly, and c), I hate themed bedrooms (ie, barbie, thomas etc). I have nothig against childrens duvets, just not also going with the border, bin, wallpaper etc.......

anyway

DD2 is verging on the pricy side, so have said no to that too, altho am willing to budget it so it is still along that theme, but they have to agree first on what.

oh, and also, it will not be being done until the summer hols and also hopefully after the extension (so we know how much we can spend on the room).

but they are yelling and screaming at each other now, it has been going on for about an hour with the stomping and the slamming doors, and I have had it up to here

or maybe marmite in their mouths would shut them up

I care, I get the yelling & screaming with mine sometimes.
Why don't you paint it black and let them use fluorescent markers to each decorate their side of the room?

psychomum5 · 16/04/2009 17:41

altho, they would probably think it "well cool"

Ooer the joys of motherhood eh! My 2 boys were fighting over who had the lego R2D2 for the longest yesterday...at 6 this morning I have R2D2 now

Just keep saying...3 days til they are back at school!

psychomum5 · 16/04/2009 17:51

oh please don;t get me started on the boys.

I also have a whole stash of goodies on top of the kitchen cupboards to limit the fighting, but it just seems to be getting ever bigger and the arguements are getting ever more inventive....
