I would deck him personally.

thesockmonsterofdoom · 15/04/2009 17:35

pmsl

ShowOfHands · 15/04/2009 17:35

Sit on him. And not in a good way.

norktasticninja · 15/04/2009 17:37

Aww, that's the sort of thing my DP would do. Well, now I say 'awww' at other moments I may be tempted to thump him

morningpaper · 15/04/2009 17:37

"no pork for you matey"

ChippingIn · 15/04/2009 17:41

YANBU - no more hide the sausage for him!!

everGreensleeves · 15/04/2009 17:43

lol, when I was carrying ds1 I was always inging nursery rhymes to the bump (I know, I know, but I was inhospital on multiple drugs for 6 weeks and was Not Myself )

I was singing "One two, buckle my shoe", and when I got to "nine ten, a good fat hen" dh guffawed and said "You ARE a good fat hen"

AND he used to call me "eggnant" instead of pregnant

JetLi · 15/04/2009 17:43

Oooh - not nice - I'd lamp him YANBU

TrillianAstra · 15/04/2009 17:51

I'm sure he means it in a nice way

tattifer · 15/04/2009 17:54

YABU ! his big starry eyed smile should say it all - he's being affectionate and proud of you. Don't forget you're the one with the hormones

dmo · 15/04/2009 18:05

when having ds1 who is now 12 my dh used to sing the song by oasis about a walrus

BalloonSlayer · 15/04/2009 18:08

If he starts affectionately nicknaming you "The Empress of Blandings" suspect the worst.

ourlot · 15/04/2009 18:09

Ha ha! He must be an old boar then!

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 15/04/2009 18:12

DH has just phsl at this

There are worse things to say I'm sure

HappyChildminderBerkshire · 15/04/2009 18:31

I suggested a trip to see West Side Story at the local theatre, before baby no. 1 arrives. DP reckons the mother-to-be of his first born child will need 2 seats. I did not pmsl....! Cheeky shite.

I got my own back by pointing out that he will need to be sober for the final 3 weeks of the pregnancy. That wiped the smile off his face!!

thumbwitch · 16/04/2009 12:16

v.v.bad.
DH called me his cow the other day - because I am still bf'ing DS and we are ttc #2. He's lucky he has any tackle left for ttc with!

HappyChildminderBerkshire · 16/04/2009 12:22

Oooo that is bad thumbwitch. I hate the whole "milkcow" comparison with BFing mothers.... we are not placid milkers, grazing away! Tell him to chew your cud
