to think that people are really thick sometimes

We went to a safari park the other day. We decided to be brave and drive through the baboons.

All the signs on the way in say "keep your windows closed" and "don't feed the baboons".

We saw:

• people with their windows down slightly poking crisp packets out so that the baboons would snatch them
• other people doing the same with a square of bubble wrap(baby baboon got it and tried to eat it)
• people throwing nuts and other food to the animals

How can people be so bloody thick and stupid and ignorant?

Just like the baboons really. Sometimes you have to wonder how far evolution has actually taken us.

I think it's because no-one is shooting them for doing it.

If there were signs up saying "snipers will target you if you put your window down" then maybe they'd be more co-operative?

Honestly, what do you have to do to make people take notice of the rules?

I hate the way some people abuse the rules about feeding zoo animals for their own entertainment. I was at a local farm/zoo place which had lemurs. It clearly said 'do not feed the lemurs as they have a very specialised diet. Feeding them could make them ill.' Cue the idiots feeding the baby lemurs peanuts and popcorn. Yes, I wanted to stroke the baby lemurs, no, I didn't want to harm them for my own pleasure.

It did make us hope that a baboon would climb into their car and crap in their packed lunches
