Using the Pizza Express kids eat free voucher in today's Times? Niece is 20, nephew is 22 (but they both look v v young for their age), DS1 is 17, DS2 is 13, DD is 3 and DS3 is 21 months. I will be eating a maincourse only and drinking tap water.

Do you think this will OK. Or do you think they are too old/too many to be eating from the Pizza Express Bambini menu?

how many will be eating free on this voucher? I don't know if they serve the Bambini menu to adults though.

TrillianEAstraEgg · 13/04/2009 21:15

I expect the bambini menu will say 'for under 12s' or similar.

And you would be hugely taking advantage of the restaurant by doing that. Why do you think they owe you a free meal?

IheartEASTEREGGS · 13/04/2009 21:16

what does menu say? up to 16 max I expect
do they all look under 16??
i expect you'll ed up buyin 4 adult meals and getting 3 free kids meals more realistically!

LauriefairycakeeatsCupid · 13/04/2009 21:16

2 of them will eat for free though which would be great right?

wilkos · 13/04/2009 21:17

oh very funny ha ha

compo · 13/04/2009 21:17

why would you though?
the older ones will be starving!
think of the staff, if you do go down that route, and tip massively

blametheparents · 13/04/2009 21:18

YABU

22, 20 and 17 should def not be eating from Bambino menu

There is also probably a limit to the number of children that an eat free with each paying adult.

nametaken · 13/04/2009 21:18

I wouldn't have thought a bambini menu would fill up a 13 year old or older.

Would you really be that cheeky though? You'd get terrible service and they'd probably gob in your grub too.

Niecie · 13/04/2009 21:18

A friend of mine ordered the bambini menu for herself - she asked the waiter if she could and they said fine.

I think it might be pushing it to ask for 3 over 16's though.

cheekster · 13/04/2009 21:19

Surely youre not expecting 6 free meals while you only pay for 1?

Hulababy · 13/04/2009 21:19

Kids eat free voucher possible limited to on per paying adult, or one per voucher.I am not very tall - do you think I could eat on one of them if me and DH go out.BTW - DD loves the kid's menu at Pizza Express!

Swedes · 13/04/2009 21:20

All the youngsters will be eating for free. I could order some capers on my margherita so as to not appear to be taking the piss.

OP posts:
LauriefairycakeeatsCupid · 13/04/2009 21:21

haha - capers LOL

bamboostalks · 13/04/2009 21:21

Is this an Easter bunny joke type post?

noonar · 13/04/2009 21:22

blimey, hope you thought better of this!

have you seen the size of the pizzas they give to children?

go to prezzo and get 2 for 1 on all meals instead.

your nephews would be so embarassed that they wouldnt want to go anyway, i'd imagine.

Swedes · 13/04/2009 21:23

Well I suppose if the Bambini menu didn't fill-up the older ones we could always pretend their other cousins were arriving any minute and order for them too off the free Bambini menu?

Swedes you're very norty.

bellavitalikesthesimnellife · 13/04/2009 21:24

I think you would be taking the michael to be honest for anyone over 12 - assuming that is their policy which it usually is in these places.

Swedes · 13/04/2009 21:24

I suppose I could splash out and have a La Reine or something.

OP posts:
blametheparents · 13/04/2009 21:26

La reine with extra onions, yummy

Swedes · 13/04/2009 21:27

Blametheparents - Why don't you come with me with all the children in your street?

CantSleepWontSleep · 13/04/2009 21:27

Is there anywhere we can download this voucher Swedes. I've just decided I'll have my dd's birthday party there - it'll save me a flipping fortune.

blametheparents · 13/04/2009 21:29

Good idea, we could share the La reine with extra onions and all the kids could eat free ( I don't have my own voucher though, didn't get out to get a paper today, could we share yours?)

nickytwotimes · 13/04/2009 21:29

Ooh, someone tell me what's going on!
