Was at the beach yesterday and DC were having a great time playing in the sea and when we walked back to our stuff I noticed a labrador walking towards my stuff (I was screaming at that point to get owners attention as could see what the dog was intending) and he just pissed all over my leather bag (very expensive bag) which had my phone in it too.

The dog wasnt on a lead which is a MUST from 1st April on that beach and she murmled an apology (young girl) and walked away.

So pissed off, would have expected for the girls parents to come over but no they were having drinks at a beach bar and probably laughed away the fact their dog pissed over somebody elses stuff.

Just thought I'd share this with you!

You should have peed on their legs.

vjg13 · 12/04/2009 18:17

Eeeeww that is horrid, did your bag clean up ok?

VinoEsmeralda · 12/04/2009 18:30

Not really, the bag still lingers of dog wee/fishy smell but will have it dry cleaned.

Shame that nowadays people cant apologise or that I was too chickened out to go to them and tell what happened as it probably wasnt worth the hassle and aggression coming from it.

Well I lived with a boyfriend once who came in so drunk one night that he thought he was in the toilet and weed all over our coffee table, ruining my mobile phone in the process! Needless to say I was not amused and he did not remain my boyfriend for long!!

OMG - this happened to DS and DH yesterday too. On the beach - dog peed all over their bag of clothes/towels/beach rug - owners just continued with their walk...

Fortunately everything washed OK but DS was in floods of tears and the afternoon was obviously ruined. Went back today and refused to let any dogs come near our little spot - you'd be amazed at how pissed off owners get when you don't welcome their dogs running all over your beach rug, etc with open arms

So lots of sympathy from us!

Thank you Slayerette. poor DS (yours)

We have dog but didnt take it to that beach as they are only allowed on a lead and its just not right taking a dog to a beach without the possibility, for them, to run/roam
